Teaching is Poetry.

Poems hide…
What we have to do is live in a way that lets us find them…
Maybe if we reinvent whatever our lives give us we find poems.

  1. I love this! I think poetry is such a powerful tool. I have seen it being used more and more in classrooms and it couldn’t have me more excited. Poetry is one way I really began to enjoy writing. It gave me a voice that I never knew I had and I imagine how I can create that opportunity for my students. LOVE!

Did you read the whole poem? Isn’t it awesome!? And it’s super accessible. I experienced an exploration of this poet in a 9th grade classroom, it was rad.
